During the run of Theatre Pro Rata‘s production of “44 Plays for 44 Presidents,” there was a Presidential Art Gallery on display that featured each of the 44 presidents created by different artists. I created a portrait of Ronald Reagan.

I made a collage of images from the 1980s — everything from the tearing-down of the Berlin Wall to Michael Jackson to E.T. to a Rubik’s Cube. Then, I painted a portrait of President Reagan over the entire collage. I’m pretty happy with the results.

You can see images of all of the artwork in the gallery by clicking here.

My art was also featured in an interview with Carin Bratlie and Grant Henderson from Theatre Pro Rata. Click here to read the interview.
