I finally got to check out the “Foot in the Door 4” exhibit today. It was, to say the least, art overload. I tried to take in as much as I could, but by the time I got to the last gallery, my senses had overloaded and I couldn’t even comprehend what I was seeing anymore. I think I need to go back a few times and just take it one gallery at a time. It’s sort of like seeing two museums’ worth of art in a few rooms. In any case, the exhibit is awesome, and there are so many talented artists here in Minnesota. There were a few pieces I wanted to display in my home, that’s for sure!

I took a lot of photos while I was there.

Here’s “Lady Gaga” on the wall among other fine works. The piece is located at 346-03, if you’re planning on going to check it out. Basically, once you get up the area where the exhibit is, you’ll see it.

It’s pretty high up on the wall, so this is about as close as I could get to taking a photo next to my work. At least we match. (For the record, I’m wearing my MAC Viva Glam “Gaga” lipstick — I thought it would be appropriate for the occasion.)

A view of the whole wall where my work is.

If you want to see more photos from the exhibit, take a peek over at my Flickr page. I tried to get photos of as much as I could, but it was difficult. I’ll get more next time.

The exhibit runs through June 13th.
